HOMEMADE SALSA



How to Make Delicious Salsa - We're sharing our secrets for making the best homemade salsa recipe we've ever tried.Healthy, fresh and easy to set up!

* Ingredients:

• 1 1/4 pounds ripe Roma tomatoes* (about 5-6)
• 1 can (14.5 oz) tomatoes cherry , diced **
• 2 green onions, trimmed ends and cut into thirds
• 1/3 cup chopped red onion (about 1/4 medium)
• 1 jalapeno, seeded & coarsely chop
• 1/3 c fresh cilantro (for a handful)
• 1 L clove garlic, coarsely chop
• 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
• 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar (optional)
• Salt and pepper to taste

* Directions:

• Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend in 1-second bursts until all ingredients are finely chopped.
• Serve with tortilla chips. Note that the sauce always tastes best after it's been refrigerated for a few hours, so if time permits, let the flavors infuse together before serving.
• Stored in refrigerator about up to week.
