Slow Cooker Honey-Glazed Ham

Slow Cooker Honey-Glazed Ham

* Ingredients:

1 fully cooked pork (between 4-7 pounds)
1/2 c   sugar
1/2 c honey
2 tablespoons Dijon or spicy brown mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup water

* instructions:

Place the pork in the slow cooker basin.
In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, mustard, cloves, garlic, and water over high heat. Heat it until it is warm enough to dissolve the sugar. Pour the mixture over the pork, making sure to separate the fillets to allow the ice to permeate between them.
Cover the slow cooker tightly with the lid, or if the ham is very large, cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Simmer on low heat for 3-4 hours, or on high heat for 2-3 — just until completely warm.
Heat the broiler, transfer the pork to an oven-safe dish, and set aside. Pour  cook liquid to a small saucepan. Heat the cooking liquid over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes, or until it thickens and bubbles. Brush them over the pork, let them simmer for 4-5 minutes, then remove with additional glaze every minute or so.

Enjoy !
