°4-5 potatoes
°1/2 onion dice
°3 tsp ground butter
°3 tsp gold medal flour
°1/2 tsp kosher salt
°1/2 teaspoon black pepper
°1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
°1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
°2 c Borden milk
°1 1/2 c shredded Kraft cheddar cheese

Preheat the oven to 350, then peel the potatoes. Cut the halves in half lengthwise and cut the potatoes into slices. Butter baking dish/skillet and layer in potatoes. Sprinkle half an onion. Melt butter in a saucepan, sprinkle with flour and cook over medium heat until bubbles, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, cayenne and garlic powder. Add milk. Stir until it thickens and approaches boiling. Raise the heat and add the cheese. Stir until cheese is soft and melted. Pour half of cheese sauce on first layer of potatoes. Adding rest potatoes also onion cubes to dish. Pour the remaining sauce over the top... Spread over the potato and onion mixture. Sprinkle a little chili. Cover with tin foil and bake for 1.5 hours. Pull out the tin for the last 30 minutes until it turns brown. Leave on the counter 5-10 minutes.
