Zip-Top-Bag-Bread- Recipe

Zip-top-Bread Bag makes it simple to knead bread & prepare it for the oven.Collect ingredients in a large zippered plastic bag.

* Ingredients :

° 3 cups allpurpose flour, divided (I used unbleached gold)
° 1 (1/4 ounce) package quick-rising yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
° 3 tablespoons of sugar
° 1 c warm water
° 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
° 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil (I used Crisco vegetable oil)
° 3 small disposable aluminum loaf pans

* Directions :

In a gallon plastic bag, add 1 cup each of the flour, yeast, and sugar; Then add warm water. Squeeze the air out of the bag and close it with a zip.

Using your hands, crush the bag until the ingredients are well mixed together. Leave it for 10-15 minutes at room temperature. The mix will form bubbles.

Meanwhile, prepare a floured work surface and grease 3 small disposable loaf pans slightly.
Open the plastic bag and add another cup of flour, salt and oil. Close the bag and continue crushing the bag until the mixture is well combined.

Open the bag and add the last cup of flour and continue crushing the bag until the ingredients are well mixed.
Open the bag and rub the dough onto a floured work surface and knead for 5-8 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into 3 equal parts (I used a pizza cutter); Place one serving into each greased loaf pan. Cover with a towel and let it rise in a slightly warm, draft-free area for about 45 minutes, double in size. (I put mine on a baking sheet in a slightly warm oven to rise.)

Place loaves of bread on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Brush the loaf heads with melted butter. Now, tear off a rustic piece (or slice if necessary!) and serve it warm with butter.

Enjoy !
