°1 loaf of French bread or thick Texas toast
°8 eggs
° 2 and a half cups
°1/2 cup milk
°3 tsp granulated sugar
°1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
°1/2 tsp cinnamon
°1/2 tsp nutmeg
°1/2 tsp salt
°Crunchy-Cinnamon
°1 1/2 stick butter 12 tsp
°1 cup packed light brown sugar
°1 tablespoon light corn serum, optional
°1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
°1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
* instructions:
Prepare a 9 x 13 baking dish by coating the entire interior of the dish with butter or cooking spray. Sit aside.
Slice the French bread 1 inch thick. Arrange the slices in the prepared baking dish in rows, overlapping the slices. Sit aside.
In a large bowl, whisk eggs. Add half and half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
Pour the egg mixture over the slices of bread, making sure to cover it evenly. Pour a little of the mixture between the slices, making sure to cover all the slices completely. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, preheat oven to 350 degrees F . Meanwhile, carefully flip each piece of bread to make sure everything is nice and coated with the mixture.

Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl and mix together. Pour the topping over the prepared slices of bread. Then spread it evenly over the bread (as if you were making a cake).
Bake for 35 minutes, until puffed and slightly browned.
