This dish is fantastic for any meal or excursion occasion.If your family and friends like potatoes, they may just like this dish. My own circle of relatives loves potatoes and I'm searching out new approaches to lead them to whilst we get together.I made this recipe for Labor Day weekend these days, so far you can double this recipe, or cut it in half for some people.You may want to try our Cajun-style fried potato recipe.
* Ingredients :
° five kilos Yukon Gold baked potatoes
° ½ teaspoon kosher salt
° 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper2 kilos thick, cooked, shredded bacon
° 2 c bitter cream
° 2 grated mozzarella cheese
° 2 grated cheddar cheese
° four chopped green onions
° 1 squeeze bottle
* instructions :
Pour sour cream right into a squeeze bottle.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and brush a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray, set aside.Cut the baked potatoes into small pieces.
Place half of the chopped potatoes on the bottom of the baking dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.Add half of the cooked bacon to the potatoes.Sprinkle sour cream on the bacon, it may not cover it completely, which is good.Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese on the potato casserole.
Put the last layer of potatoes on the cheese slices.Sprinkle with remaining bacon and drizzle with sour cream.Sprinkle the remaining cheese on the garlic.
Cover with tin foil, put withinside the oven and bake for 30 minutes
Take the potato casserole out of the oven and allow it settle down a bit and serve hot
